Do I need a visa to visit Finland?

The answer

It depends on your nationality, and entry rules change over time. Many visitors need only a valid passport, but some need a visa or other authorisation, and requirements for stays in Finland can differ from those for Åland or other destinations on the same trip. Check the official Finnish government and border authority pages before you travel, confirm that your passport is valid for the whole stay and read any health or insurance requirements well before departure.
